Creating Personalised Art Cards
Let me first take a few minutes of your time to say thank you for taking time to step into the world of natashajaneriches.co.uk.
I am a person that always tends to feel like my best in not quite good enough, constantly comparing what I have created to that of the people on my Instagram feed. My work never felt as though it was refined and polished enough to put a price tag on and share with the world. However, this made me push further and develop my skills as an illustration and design artist, something that I believe only comes with hard work and practice.
Spending a large portion of my life avoiding written work, artist blogging was never something on my agenda, as like most creatives dyslexia often likes to trip me up so my apologies in advance for any all miss spellings and grammatical errors.
My first post features my Personalise Art Cards, which are hand painted and can be completely tailored to whatever the customer wants. I rarely send birthday cards and if I do then I always make them myself in the hope that the person receiving it will view it as something ‘frame-able’ that will look great on display in their home.
There is a lot of media coverage right now highlighting the impact of rising consumption of products that have a temporary purpose. This has encouraged me to think, ‘how many cards just get thrown away’. You hold on the the meaningful ones, the ones with heart felt memories or handwriting of a love one that is dearly missed. Keeping them means packing them away in a box at the back of your cupboard.
So what about sending something that is frame-able and personalised, this is where the personalised art cards comes in. Something that is hand painted, and completely one of a kind that is both a card and a gift combined. The perfect piece of art that stands proudly on its own, or potentially combined with multiple pieces in the form of a ‘gallery wall’.
I love the idea of creating personalised pieces of work one, because of the endless and exciting requests on what the sender is looking to create. It is a constant trial when painting something you have not painted before. And two, when completing that piece of work for each client, the satisfaction of enabling their vision to come to life is extremely rewarding.
If you are interested in reaching out to find out what I can offer, please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions you have. No challenge is too small, and if you decide not to go ahead don’t be afraid to say ‘no thank you’ as just the interaction alone helps me to build on my customer base.
